The appetizers are amazing.. And the Gravlax with garlic is the greatest thing Ive ever eaten

Best sushi I've had in ages! Fresh and lots of interesting choices. Great all you can eat menu for a good price (think it was $24,99). Most rolls do come in 8 or 10 pieces so take it slow when ordering ;) Quick service and friendly staff!

I love this place! The environment is great. Music playing, decorated really nicely. Employees are always there to refill drinks or take plates away. Sushi is very fresh. Best sushi in Carson by far. Bathrooms were very clean and looked nice. I can't find any complaints no matter how hard I try. Keep it up Tomo!

I've been suprised there lately. Seems like the service is getting worse every time we go. So has the food unfortunately. I don't like giving any sort of bad reviews, but maybe the owner will see this and take notice.

Very good. I don't give five stars unless im absolutely blown away by every detail. That being said, this place is still great.

I wish I could just hideout in the bathroom or sleep in the ceiling in between meals and just eat $20 all you can eat sushi forever. Amazing deal. Or at least stuff my pockets with quail eggs and philly hand rolls until I catch a felony FOREVER!!!

Great spot, great sushi, slow service though

This place is always busy and I can never figure out why. All the fish tastes like the inside of an aquarium and the rolls are all rice. Which I understand on the business side but come on if I wanted to eat 3 pounds of rice and pond scum I wouldn’t pay these prices for the privilege to do so surrounded by screaming infants.

It's a good place with inventive rolls. For me not a great place. The rice they serve is a very sticky rice with just a texture that is not pleasant for me. This is just a personal preference I like my rice just a little more solid and not the way they make it. They have creative rolls and a very friendly staff. Definetly worth trying to see if it fits you.

Terrible Service! Been here a few times and it's always a cluster. Completely unorganized and slow. You can expect a long wait on everything only to have it be wrong or be missing part of your order. I have been here 4 times and it's always the same. I really tried to give this place a chance but I will never be returning.

Extremely average. Nothing interesting really about the food, it's basically the same as almost every other sushi place in the area. My complaints with the food are 1. The muscles I was served for the appetizer were cold 2. The salmon skin handroll had the texture and flavor of gravel 3. Everything had that sickly sweet teriyaki sauce on it. So for me, not the best sushi place, 2.5 stars.

Excellent food, outstanding chefs. Just a little Annoying to see the manager constantly berating and belittling his staff, other than that I will always continue to eat there.

From start to finish everything was great. What I liked the most, the sushi wasn't mostly rice like other places. We are def coming back!

Wonderful service and food!

It was $25 for all you can eat. For the all you can eat menu, there was a good variety of options to choose from--appetizers, nigiri, hand rolls, and all types of rolls. The wait was around 40 minutes for a party of 2 at 7pm.

Mediocre food, the worst quail egg shooters I have ever had in my life, bad service. Admittedly we didnt do the sushi other than the shooters, but the Bento boxes we ordered were nothing special. It was my first time and it left a bad impression. Will probably give them a second chance at some point, but not in a rush to come back.

Pretty good this time. I don't think the salmon was as fresh as it should have been. But everything was good. Service was good at first but then we were ignored by the wait staff for about 20 minutes. Once I told one of the servers we were being ignored, they really picked up again. That said, everyone was very friendly and sushi was good.Fresher fish and not forgetting about your customers would have earned 5 stars.

It was good food but the prices were too high for the portions.

We haven't been here in 2 years for a bad experience, we decided to try it again.We order AYCE..not busy by the way. Long story short... 35min later a lady checks in on us we say we are waiting on our rolls ,the table behind us just came in and got rolls but then she goes and checks for our meal and they had lost our order and brings us back a paper to fill up again. Not even the server came and said anything after the server brought water and mussels. Someone else check on us ..nice lady with glasses ..

They should call it "all we wanna serve" instead of "all you can eat". We got 5 rolls between 2 people and then waited 30 mins for our second wave of rolls. We left before they even brought out the rest. I feel pretty stupid because I still left a tip. But this is the last time I go to Tomos. Bad bad service.

So fresh and so tasty. The muscles are amazing! I also like the "checklist" ordering system. It's nice to see an all you can eat menu without a list of rules attached to it. Tomo sets the bar high for ayce sushi in northern Nevada.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Tomo. We went on a whim as it was the closest sushi place nearby. I'm glad we did! The muscles were among the best I've had. Served without the shell in meat little dishes. 3 different kinds of upside down shrimp: regular, spicey, and fried. How awesome is that! The rolls were great as well. I enjoyed the San Francisco, the Tomo, and the carson city. The spider sounded interesting with the soft shell crab i just didn't have enough room to eat anymore. Friendly fast service with a smile.

Worst place to get sushi. Their service is horrible. I mean HORRIBLE.

Always very good sushi. Servers, hostesses, and chefs are friendly and make the overall experience fantastic. Best sushi in Carson City and better than all but maybe 2 sushi joints in the Reno/Sparks area.

Really great and friendly service, fresh sushi, and the green tea cheesecake was so creative and delicious. I also appreciated that the mussels appetizer was out of the shell and conveniently on a spoon. Great all-around!

I like their kids pricing for all you can eat

In Virginia, we have no all-you-can-eat sushi places. This was my first time branching out from a California Roll. I'm so glad I did! We tried many items from the menu, and everything was delicious and fresh! The servers were friendly and helpful. If you're in the Carson City area, you have to give this place a try!

We were looking for a new sushi place to try out and saw we were close to Tomo. When we went in there weren't many people so it was nice we thought we would get served decently. Boy were we wrong! Our server never spent more than 45 seconds at our table. Took our oder and when he would drop off a plate of food he would literally drop and walk off. He never asked us for refills, never asked us how it was going, and to top it off we never got all of our rolls. When we were finished our waiter was no where to be found. We eventually saw him walking across the street. No one came to us for at least 30 minutes. We paid after having to go up to someone and left. We wont be back. Worst service. The food wasnt that great either. Tolls were very small rolled especially for the price it's not worth it. We will just stick with our normal place.

I'm eating here right now, the food is AMAZING!!! Im honestly not a sushi person at all, but I came because my girlfriend really wanted to show me the food here... I am in love AWESOME service too!

One of the best ayce sushi places around, you don't have to sit at the bar to eat so can enjoy your food and have conversations at the table. Food is fresh and presentation is perfect. Good value!

Really good Sushi and great service all though they did forget one of my sushi rolls but no big deal it was all you can eat witch they prepare fresh so I just had to remind them and they brought it out with no hassle this place was very good thanks guys keep up the good work
